Rationale The development of an interface to analyze liquid sample streams with direct analysis in real time mass spectrometry (DART-MS) is great interest for coupling various analytical techniques, using non-volatile salts, MS. Therefore, we devised enclosed ionization and a introduction system the versatile samples DART-MS. Methods consists nebulizer, spray chamber transfer line, while confined created by implementing cross-shaped housing between ion source outlet spectrometer inlet.
